The AWCC Operate Vehicles in the Field program is run weekly from our Brisbane and Toowoomba training facilities. The course is aimed at supporting a variety of industries and is flexible enough to support those recreational drivers who are seeking to learn more about driving techniques, vehicle maintenance and remote driver planning. This course is suitable for any person that requires or is looking to obtain advanced knowledge of 4WD vehicles for work or recreational purposes.

In order to generate greater value for our clients we have clustered several additional useful driving units of competency into our program. The successful participants of our Operate Vehicles in the Field course PMASUP236 will also receive the following bonus certificates at no additional cost.

  2. RIIVEH305 Operate and Maintain a 4WD Vehicle
  3. TLIC0023 Operate 4WD Vehicle

4WD Course Pre-Requisites and Requirements

  1. A Completed Course Enrolment Form
  2. A Current and valid Drivers License (Open or Provisional Acceptable)
  3. A Blood Alcohol Level of 0%

4WD Course Learning Methods

The modes of delivery for this program will be Face to Face, classroom-based supported by a number of practical activities aimed at operating a 4WD vehicle on various terrain and road types, these activities are designed to satisfy the Practical Element and Assessment of the program.

Students who wish to learn more about their own vehicle are welcome to bring their own 4WD and perform the practical activities. These vehicles will need to be fully road worthy with current registration. Conditions apply.
